We, the undersigned, support the petition for Aberdeenshire Council to:

(i)   support the recommendation by Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee that the proposal to change the Invercarron Resource centre into a permanent vaccination centre be refused;

(ii) reopen the Invercarron Older Peoples' Resource Centre as a custom made facility for the support of older people in the area, as early as possible;

(iii)  encourage the Centre to, once more, operate as a community operated day care centre and social hub, thus enriching older people's lives and combating the misery of loneliness; and

(iv) instructs that a permanent vaccination centre be located in Stonehaven, after an appropriately thorough examination of the location options is undertaken.
