Save iCarly on Paramount Plus

Save iCarly on Paramount Plus
The Issue
iCarly is a powerful and beloved franchise spanning 16 years and 9 seasons, with die-hard fans all over the world.
The iCarly revival was successful for Paramount+. While season 1 episodes were being released, Bob Bakish (former president and CEO of Paramount Global) called it a “total home run.” During season 2 filming, Paramount+ said it was their #1 show. According to TelevisionStats.com, it was a top Paramount+ show throughout season 3.
On October 4, 2023, despite the iCarly revival's success and Paramount+ teasing a season 4 renewal, the show was cancelled on TWO huge cliffhangers (Carly and Freddie's almost-wedding, Carly and Spencer's mom reveal) without a proper explanation.
The cast wants the iCarly revival to be saved:
- December 8, 2023: Jaidyn posted the following on her Instagram: “I have been seeing all of your tweets, tags and comments about #saveicarly trending again. We appreciate all of your love and support.”
- February 14, 2024: Nathan posted the following on his Twitter/X: “thank you for your support and efforts since the announcement (#SaveiCarly still trends on my feed all the time-- you guys are the best)” and “I had also hoped that if I waited long enough, we'd have some definitive news for you, but so far, we're still waiting. But your voices are not going unheard, and we're not giving up on trying to finish the story!”
- April 24, 2024: Miranda said the following in her LIVE with Kelly and Mark interview when asked about the cliffhanger: “Oh yes, my character Carly *is* actually about to get engaged to Freddie, [who] is my long-time love on the show.”
- May 8, 2024: Miranda was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight and said she wants to wrap up iCarly, possibly in the form of a movie.
- May 10, 2024: Bustle said the following in their article about Miranda: “iCarly fans shouldn’t give up hope just yet, because Cosgrove hints that there’s serious cast interest in a wrap-up movie.”
iCarly can't end on a cliffhanger. We request a season 4 or movie to give this beloved franchise the closure it deserves.
