Hi Everyone,

Just to let you all know, there is a Public Consultation event today regarding a housing development on green belt land at Lucas Lane between Grays Lane and Westhill. This is the field we have specifically identified in our petition (HT5) and is also featured as our Petition photo.

The developers plan is to build 9 houses and turn the woodland we saved from destruction, into a community wood and isolate from wildlife.

If you would like to attend and make your views known to the developers, who say they have reacted to "feedback from local residents" and will "enhance biodiversity !". 

The event is at the Main Hall, Baptist Church, Upper Tilehouse Street, Hitchin SG5 2EE today between 4pm to 8pm.
