Hi Everyone,

As many of you maybe aware, an Outline Planning Application (Ref: 21/01562/OP)  has been submitted for 58 houses on Green Belt land at the top of Grays Lane, Hitchin. This is a grassland meadow, our Petition Site HT6, which contains a wonderful oak tree and is bordered by woodland and hedges. The damage to the local environment and wildlife habitat will be immense!

We urgently need more objections lodged with the council against this Planning Application as the deadline for submission is now July 10th, 2021 (was June 16th & then 24th !). All objections should include your name (address preferred but optional) and quote “Planning Ref: 21/01562/OP – Objection”. Ways to object:

1.      Online: using NHDC Website, this is the direct link: https://pa2.north-herts.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=makeComment&keyVal=QT9CWRLKLT900    or the main access page is: https://pa2.north-herts.gov.uk/online-applications/

You have to Register and Login to make a Comment and specify “Objection”. You can be timed out so maybe write separately and copy in.

2 .      Post:  Write to:- Planning Control, NHDC, PO Box 10613 NG6 6DW quoting above reference.

3.      Email: Send email to:- planning.control@north-herts.gov.uk and quote the above reference and “Objection” in the Subject.
