Stratford is considering a sweetheart deal for a developer on the Center School site, without regard to the best interest of residents and our historic town. Sign on to tell  Town Hall that YOU care about what goes into the Center School site, and do not support another oversized apartment complex. Stratford deserves thoughtful,  mixed use development that includes retail, open space, and opportunities for our community to thrive. Let's make Stratford the VIBRANT destination that we all know it can be! 

Here's what's proposed for the space: 

•  "Selling" the Center School site, historic Center School, and historic Koperwhats home to the developer for a bargain basement $1
• 17 Years of Substantial Tax Breaks - Including $0 in taxes for the first 2 years 
• 100 apartments & 120 + parking spaces, including a 5 story building, out of character and scale with our historic down town

This is not a good deal for Stratford. Let's hold our officials to a higher standard, and demand thoughtful development for the public good!
