Monday is the hearing at UGA about the fate of Legion Pool. We need as many people as possible to be there to show that our community cares.  Representatives from UGA will be there to hear our comments. Even if you are not going to speak, it is important to have as many people as possible attend. 

Info about hearing:

Monday, December 8, 2025, 5:15 pm, in the auditorium at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center* on the UGA campus, 315 Riverbend Road, Athens, GA. 

Directions to Complex Carbohydrate Research Center:

- follow directions to 315 Riverbend Road to the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center

- after you turn in, immediately turn right (*there is no sign to the CCRC*) and go about ¼ mile

- turn left into a parking lot  in front of a large unmarked building (see photos below)

- enter front doors and turn left

- go through doors marked CCRC and take stairs down to the left to the lower floor to reach to     

  auditorium (note there is no signage to reach the auditorium)

We will have signs posted to help you find it, and people inside the building to help you find the auditorium.  

Additionally, a reminder that you may still send in letters to Adam Fouche at UGA in support of the pool. All of the letters he receives will go into a packet that will be delivered to decision-makers in the next few weeks and every letter helps!
