Appeal to TOH Landmarks Preservation Commission

LANDMARK STATUS UPDATE - 4/14/23:
Hello Community! We have attained additional support by experts who are involved with landmarking at both the local and state level to appeal the decision of the TOH Landmarks Preservation Commission.
They have confirmed the extensiveness of the historic evidence we have provided and will be expanding on it with architectural and preservation knowledge and experience in alignment with town codes. The architect supporting our landmark application of the Gouin-Lawrence-Graber House has a list of credentials qualifying him to make such decisions impacting historic architecture and preservation guidelines in our communities. And the historic preservationist working in collaboration with us has served the Long Island community in the capacity relevant to these proceedings and her support will highlight issues with the decision towards saving and securing our built heritage.
Stay tuned for additional updates. We are happy to share details as soon as possible. We also welcome additional community support! The town codes are in place to serve our communities, ensuring we are able to protect historic treasures such as the Gouin-Lawrence-Graber House, its related history, and to maintain the historic character and ambiance of our neighborhoods.
I am attaching a form letter that you may sign and submit to the TOH Landmarks Preservation Commission to ensure our voices are heard. You may cut and paste this letter, edit, sign and send. Thank you.
