Hello all - Dalhousie has announced plans to break ground within 24 months on new housing in Halifax, and is inviting neighbours to complete a survey to "capture critical feedback" as they analyze "community engagement results."

Meanwhile, part of the fence has been removed and the backyard of 1245 Edward being used for parking trucks servicing the Glengarry student residence/apartment building next door to it.

Dal's message says "We also have expertise within our institution that can contribute new ideas to address our shared housing situation in novel ways....Our Faculty of Architecture and Planning...is actively collaborating with partners in the built environment to better understand how it can support Nova Scotia's housing sector. This fall, the Faculty will convene an engagement series on housing priorities within a Nova Scotia context."
