Hello friends, another long day, but the house is still standing. Today the city came and issued a second stop work order which was posted on the window of the house. But the workers did not stop working and said that they have been told by DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY to press on. The officer who was doing the inspection seemed shocked.

Also Dal has hooked up temporary power from their next door building, the Glengarry,into the house, which kind of makes us question, when did they shut off the actual power to the house? If the house has not had a power account since Dalhousie purchased it , then no wonder it was unheated all winter, and a pipe burst. We are trying to find this out.

Also, we are ymttv had ng an emergency meeting of the Heritage Advisory Committee meeting with the city. People have been helpful in this, from mayor’s office staff to counsellor David Hendsbee. We’ll see what happens tomorrow. Please keep sharing and urging others to sign the petition.
