Save High Lea Farm Shop from Imminent Closure

The Issue

High Lea Farm Shop, on the Cranborne Road near Witchampton, is a cornerstone of our community. It is facing closure in March due to the landlord's refusal to renew their lease. This farm shop, greengrocer and butcher has been an essential service in our local community for years. Its high-quality produce and fantastic choice have made it a favourite among locals. Many people rely on High Lea for fresh groceries. Lynn Frost, who owns and runs the shop, has been a lifeline for many in the past years. During the pandemic, Lynne and her team delivered food to people who were unable or unwilling to come into the shop. She always has a friendly chat to the people who come in.

The landlord's decision threatens not only this local establishment but also the wellbeing of our community members who rely on it for fresh food, community and support. Whether you shop regularly at High Lea or pop in for a pint of milk occasionally, we must show them how many people support Lynne and value High Lea Farm Shop.

We urge everyone who cares about preserving local businesses that contribute significantly to our quality of life in this part of Dorset to sign this petition. Let us unite as a community and show the landlord how many of us value and support Lynne and her team.

Thank you.
