After spending months developing a high profile in the Hacker Experience community and brainstorming ways to save this game I made some groundbreaking achievements and fell foul to some detrimental losses. Here’s what happened:
Since the last update I have been grinding in the actual game trying to move up the ranks so people would know who I am, and maybe listen to me. I was successful at this, seeing that my rank was #63 when I posted this, my username is QualityShit for those wondering. (Yes that is my actual username.) Once I started to become decent at the game I joined a huge in game clan called the R34P3R5 in order to gain a larger audience and community to get this petition to. Soon after that I formed a website with extremely helpful tools and information regarding the game, after it had reached its’ way up the search engines people starting to use it and since I had the link to this petition laid out perfectly all over the website, it attracted more people to join the cause. Though despite all this I was only able to get a total of 27 signatures as of today, but I wasn’t going to stop at signatures to fight for this cause. After all Renato (the only person who can do something to help us) had been inactive and not communicating whatsoever with the community for 4 to 5 months straight. Seeing as he was our only hope I knew I had to find a way to bring him back to the community and get him to communicate, but it wasn’t until the update to Discord (the community's form of communication) that I finally broke through to Renato, the update was called Rich Presence and it brung features into the application that allowed game developers to truly link the community with the heart of the game, meaning they were tied together so players could communicate flawlessly. I saw this as an opportunity, so I suggested to an actively communicating developer of Hacker Experience that the new versions of Hacker Experience use this new feature and after this developer communicated with Renato it was approved and the whole staff of Hacker Experience loved it. Which inspired Renato, owner of the entire game to come out of the darkness and communicate. Just as I thought I was successful, I met a terrible fate, after talking with Renato personally he confirmed that the game would have to be completely redone and that he couldn’t do this, that another party such as the fans of Hacker Experience would have to do this. This completely caught me off guard, I felt as though I had failed but then I realized that we are the fans and that if enough of us tell him that we want our game to stay that he will have to listen. So share this with every player you know, save Hacker Experience, and show Renato who’s boss!!
