Hello Greece Community! It has been a while, but I wanted to reach out and let you know that several concerns have popped up re. the development of green space in Greece NY.

The property at the corner of Lond Pond and Flynn Road has been sold. It was sold on August 8th, 2024. There is no discussion as of yet re. the development of this land, but there likely will be.

More pressing: Fieldstone Capital is seeking approval for a development project at 3500 Latta Rd (next to Green Acres). Phase one will be discussed at a planning board meeting on Wednesday, September 4th. It includes 30 single-family homes and 68 townhomes. We do not know if these are anticipated rental properties. 

This is pure green space that will be decimated and completed. Every tree will be cut down for housing lots. Wildlife will be driven out of the 55+ acres at this location. If you have concerns or questions, please note the meeting to voice your concerns:
