The Village Hall needs your help.

Once a thriving hub of community activity this building is now, sadly, in decline. Until recently, in conjunction with the local Parish Council, the hall was going to be demolished and a new community centre was going to be built. Unfortunately, these plans did not come to fruition and we, the village, were left with an old building that is no longer fit for purpose.

The current Trustees along with 2 co-opted members and some very willing volunteers are hoping to petition Harborough District Council with a buisiness plan seeking some of the section 106 money originally designated for the new facility and use it to refurbish & refit the old hall and bring it back to the usable community centre of old.

With the help and support of all the villager of Great Glen and the wider community we need you to show your support via this petition and be able to show HDC that the village wants and needs the Village Hall thriving once again.
