Contact UF Board of Trustees This Week To Help Save Graham Woods!

This week, the UF Board of Trustees holds its quarterly meeting, and if you have not already, now would be a great time to email them with your request to preserve Graham Woods and stop their current plans to cut it all down to make a bigger stormwater pond.

If you are wondering what to say, luckily our friends at Sierra Club posted a blog last month explaining some options.  The project is "UF-708" and if you are so inclined, you may also request to comment in person during the Board's Thursday meeting by emailing them at UFBOT@ufl.edu by tomorrow (Tuesday) asking to speak on agenda item FCI1.  Any public pressure that brings attention to the need to find alternatives that don't destroy a historic habitat and valued space on campus will be a great contribution to the effort to save Graham Woods for future generations.
