Tomorrow, Friday, April 10, 2026, from noon to 3:00 p.m., you are welcome to come out to Graham Woods on UF campus for a species identification Bioblitz and conservation area cleanup.  What is a Bioblitz?  It is documenting all organisms that live in an area through citizen observation!  You can use the App "iNaturalist" to automatically identify and record species found through your phone camera.  Meet friends and connect with members of Solidarity_GNV and other organizations in the effort to protect this special forest before UF cuts it all down!

Another update: UF, through their contractor NV5, just applied for an "exemption" for part of the wetland- and forest-destroying Project, claiming it will be for "recreation."  But conservation areas like Graham Woods are supposed to protect, not pave, such sensitive areas, and asking for an exemption to avoid mitigation and review is extra harmful.  You can also find new documents UF just published on their main wetland-destruction permit application page, including preliminary "dewatering" (wetland removal) plans.  Check them out for yourself, and feel free to comment on that page and ask the St. Johns River Water Management District to deny the permit!

And a big Thank You for helping us reach over 1000 signatures!  Every voice matters, and your work is making a difference!
