We have a rare opportunity to preserve the 52 acres of the Glebe Heights Forest and reject the 42 homes that are proposed there.  But the clock is ticking and the time for action is now.

Even  our County Executive is interested right now.  At the recent District 7 budget town hall, Mr. Pittman said "If there is a way to work with the Scenic Rivers Land Trust to preserve that land in perpetuity, then I think we should be looking hard at that,"  We have his attention, but the county needs to know that we are enthusiastically supporting this action and they need to hear from us NOW!
