However, there is a proposal to close General Louis Wagner Middle School, the only middle school serving our area. If Wagner closes, students will be forced to attend a small, nearby elementary school. This move will not only strain resources but also necessitate the closure of the pre-kindergarten (pre-K) section there, depriving families of crucial early education opportunities for their toddlers.
