UPDATES:

First, a HUGE THANKS to everyone who came out to Atlas Trail over the weekend and trekked with us through the drizzle and mud to see Grey Pond and Old Summit Cemetery. Naturalist Richard Dube highlighted some natural winter wonders along the way, and volunteer historian Jared Story shared his research and personal connection to the Summit Community, who were displaced in the 1940’s by the TNT plant and fenced off from honoring their loved ones in their cemetery. Old Summit Cemetery is now under threat of industrial development and the Hilltop Road Extension proposed by the County Mayor.
Special thanks also to State Rep Greg Vital and the Conservation Kid for being a part of the day and reminding everyone that FOREVER MEANS FOREVER.

Second, Save ESNP co-founder Nathan Griffin was in the news explaining the details of the parkland's deed. Watch the video and read the story here: Pushback intensifies against Enterprise South land swap as deed reveals protection status
