UPDATES:
- If you missed our November hike, we hope that you'll join us for our December hike on 12/20! This time we are collaborating with the local Cherokee Chapter of the Sierra Club. We'll plan to stop again at Grey Pond and Old Summit Cemetery, and will hike a bit farther than we did last time, ~2.5 miles. Facebook event page here
- We want to thank District 10 County Commissioner Jeff Eversole and Denise Eversole for meeting with us last week to discuss Hilltop Extension and the Land Swap proposal. We are excited to hear that there may be a design of Hilltop that does NOT cut through the permanently protected parkland. We hope more details will be shared publicly soon by the County Mayor's Office. Feel free to call the Mayor and/or your district's County Commissioner to ask about it!
