I need your help, this gorgeous girl needs your help.  She was found running stray Saturday 3/23 in the Chenal neighborhood of Challain Place.  Kind neighbors helped her, Amber and Rudy, interacted with her and she was so sweet.  However, Little Rock animal control was called by another neighbor and she was picked up by ACO.  This girl is a guardian breed Neopolitan Mastiff, while the shelter is no place for any dog, this breed suffers in the shelter.  She is stressed, afraid, missing her family and with her size that can be threatening.  People have posted her everywhere since she was found, NextDoor, lost and found sites, mastiff groups, we’ve called groomers, vet clinics, it’s like she fell out of the sky.  Rescue and a foster have been found for this girl but she hasn’t passed the required temperament test to be able to leave the shelter.  This is heart breaking because it’s not her fault.  The LRAV shelter director has denied allowing an independent assessment by a qualified professional, for a dog that could be moved today into a safe and experienced foster. Eleanor deserves a chance to get out of this shelter alive.
