SAVE ELDERS AND DISABLED FROM CLASSIST EVICTIONS FOR MEDICAL NEEDS!

The Issue

Elected representatives take heed inaction to protect medically vulnerable elderly and disabled people from classist pandemic evictions over medical cannabis may result in the lost lives of your local constituents due to the eviction or the loss of pain management therapy...DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!!!

End all medical-prescription based discrimination/eviction in public housing. Evicting people for taking prescriptions violates their civil rights and is cruel and unusual punishment due to a conflict between state and federal law that allows landlords to threaten, harass, fine, and subject low-income tenants to pain or homelessness who have been prescribed drugs by their doctors.

The government is to blame for the conflict between state and federal laws and has delayed remedy too long for H.U.D. tenants... the government has redefined medical compliance as a criminal activity therefore the vulnerable were by the government itself entrapped. For this clear injustice we believe already evicted and fined tenants ought to be owed financial reparations from the federal government.
