EHOVE students returned August 20th with nearly 1000 High School students, many of them new drivers. The intersection on State Route 250,which is 4 lanes, and West Mason Rd is challenging at best for an experienced driver without a left turn signal. For new younger drivers, it will inevitably lead to tragedy. One determined Mom has reached out to ODOT, Erie County Sheriffs office, Erie County Commisioner, State Representatives DJ Swerenger and Dick Stein. ODOT does have jurisdiction to this intersection and the representative Mike Lovins was responsive to the request to move this up the chain for evaluation and action. Wendy Lewis, RN of New London who's son attends EHOVE as a high school Culinary student invites all other concerned citizens to contact the above State Representative and voice their concerns about public safety.
