Together, we want manufacturers of store-bought bee and hummingbird and oriole nectar to PLEASE STOP putting preservatives and/or dyes and/or electrolytes (just another name for preservatives) and acids and other harsh chemicals into their products.

Of course, the manufacturers do this to lengthen the shelf-life of their products, pure and simply for the motive of PROFIT.  They DO NOT put these chemicals into their products for the benefit of hummingbirds, and bees, and orioles.  In fact, hummingbirds, bees, and orioles ONLY need sucrose and water.  Period.  We have found only one company that makes a product that we can support.  EZNectar Happy Hummers! brand.  All others produce products with chemicals added.  Our Sedona, AZ - and the Rockport, TX - annual hummingbird festivals ONLY support natural (no chemical) formulas for our Earth's animal pollinators.  So does the National Audubon Society.  You can see the formula they recommend on their website.

Please help us stop the potential poisoning of our precious Earth's animal pollinators.  1/3rd of our human food supply chain DEPENDS on these pollinators to grow.  Without bees, hummingbirds, and such, we would all starve.
