Douglas County Community Services Board (CSB) is the lifeline for those who cannot afford copays, medication, or private doctors. This is where our neighbors struggling with depression, trauma, and crisis turn for help. We’ve already lost over 20 lives to suicide in our county since funding cuts—when fully funded, that number was just 3.

The state cut their funding. The county once stepped in to help—providing $1 million in supplemental support—but that has now been slashed to just $250,000. This is not enough to keep our services alive.

Our commissioners CAN take over and make the CSB a stand-alone Douglas County program, like Fulton County has done, keeping it local and accountable to our community. But they need to hear from YOU.
