California has recently cut the ENTIRE BUDGET for domestic violence shelters, and many states are considering the same.

What does this mean? In California alone, a whopping 90 percent of shelters will be directly affected, and likely be forced to close. In short, a terrified woman and her children will either stay put, or be forced to risk dangerous alternatives to shelter.
