In a response to the latest public consultation, Transport for London has stated that they are unable to approve the development plans of Westbrook.

On the 16th March last year, Tfl called for further information from Westbrook and stated their concerns about the effects on the local transport infrastructure of the development and called for more information.

On the 28th August last, Tfl repeated their concerns and it was reported that Westbrook may have understated the extent and scale of the development.

In the latest response from Tfl dated 7th March, they state that they have received no response from Westbrook to their concerns and that, accordingly, they are unable to give consent to the plans.

Tfl's response raises further serious concerns about Westbrook's capacity and experience to undertake the proposed development and must be considered by Westminster's planners.
