It seems now that the hearing of this planning application has been delayed for a few weeks. Thames Water has pointed out that there is insufficient water supply currently for the development and that its excavations will impact a number of water mains. Currently, Dolphin Square residents and the gardens receive free water from 4 Artesian wells which will be closed off and destroyed by the development. A true ecological loss for all!
TFL has also raised questions about the level of parking required since the application appears to understate the nature and scale of the development. Local residents are well aware of the parking difficulties already within the boundaries of Grosvenor Road, Claverton Street, St George's Square and Lupus street and they have every right to be concerned and heard.
Our target now is 2,000 signatures before the hearing of this planning application, either by the Westminster City Council major applications committee or the Mayor of London. So keep up the good work! Thank you again!
