Fisherman's Cove - Otherwise known as "Dog Beach" has been a 100% dog friendly beach where pet owners can bring their dogs any time of the morning and afternoon and every day of the year up until now! "Dog Beach" is one of the few historical remaining places where locals and visitors can bring their dogs to enjoy the beautiful Jersey shore. It has been in operation for the last 50 years and many of the year round residents look forward to this beach on a daily basis. This area is also used for dog rehabilitation and physical therapy. There are no lifeguards here. If people want to go to a protected beach without any pets allowed they can easily walk 3 blocks from this area to enjoy all of the beautiful Manasquan beaches. Fisherman's Cove is well known by everyone as "Dog Beach." Please do not take Dog Beach away from us, our dogs, or place restriction times on when dogs are permitted to visit! Please fight for the preservation of "Dog Beach" and stand up for our pets! If you don't want to be around dogs then don't visit "Dog Beach!"
