We, the doctors and medical staff of Iran, are requesting that you take immediate action against the unfair and illegal trial that concluded with a politically motivated verdict against Dr. Hamid Gareh Hasanlu and his spouse, Farzaneh Hasnalu, as a direct result of their participation in protests two weeks ago.

During their short and politically charged hearing, Dr. Hasanlu was wrongfully convicted under trumped-up charges of participating in the murder of a member of Iran's Basij militia, with zero evidence.

We are all concerned for his life, as he is in immediate danger of execution.

We are asking that you do anything and all possible to help save his life, including using your platform to request a fair trail for both Dr. Hamid and Farzaneh Hasanlu.
