Due to budget cuts and reallocation of funds, superintendent Dr. Ian Roberts and the reimagining education committee had proposed a plan to reform the district to improve student retention. In the subtext of this ambitious plan Central Academy's world language program will be losing Italian, Arabic, and Heritage Spanish, robbing multiple teachers of jobs and stopping many students language education in its tracks.
