Wilson DLI supporters,
Last week, the Coppell ISD Board of Trustees narrowed their closure option down to only Pinkerton Elementary, with the requirement of removing D.L.I. from Wilson and consolidating at Denton Creek.
The good news is that we are being heard, the ramifications of this consolidation are being shared, and the board appears to be questioning the decision.
The Board has set up an extra Workshop for TONIGHT, Monday, Sept. 23 at 5 p.m. to further discuss the consolidation options and the Dual Language Immersion program, prior to the September 30th meeting when the final decision is expected. The Open Forum portion of tonight’s meeting will be at the end of the agenda.
The sign up for Open Forum will still be one hour prior to the workshop, which will be from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
