PLEASE SHARE –  Many living in the area are unaware of these plans  

📍 At Risk:
 • 54.92 acres of county-owned farmland
 • Tax Map 136, Parcel 46.06
 • Located near Old Highway 46 South & Luther Hogin Rd, Dickson, TN
 • Currently zoned A-1 Agricultural in the 7th District, plan to be rezoned to M-1 heavy industrial 
 • Outside city limits, meaning fewer restrictions if rezoned for industrial use 

⚠️ What’s Happening:
The county is actively moving to rezone this agricultural land to industrial, and is recruiting factories or warehouse operations. However, there is also a possibility that they could be open to selling the land to an individual buyer—if they can recoup what was paid for it.

📅 Key County Meeting Dates:
 • September 11 – Planning commission vote (went 10-0 unfavorable for zone change)
 • October 20 – County Commission will still have the final decision and vote

 • Support efforts to keep the land agricultural or protect it from industrial use
