Hello, Davis Lane Community!

It’s the start of Take-a-Friend-to-the-Courts-Week! on May 25, 2024. Bringing a friend is a great way to enjoy the courts and trees while adding votes to the survey to help replace them. Just have them use the QR code at the courts to prioritize "Pickleball" at the top of Question 1 and select "Other" on Question 3 to add "tennis/pickleball courts."  Or use this Survey Link: https://speakup.arvadaco.gov/davis-lane . Talks with the City:

I’ve spoken with the VCN Director and the Infrastructure Communications Manager, and our input will be considered along with the City survey on what to replace the current courts with. The 2% impact on home values has resonated with them, as has the strong turnout at city council meetings. A $17+ million hit on the tax base tends to get attention. We’ll also submit a packet with all our petitions, reports, and other data on May 30th to be considered with their survey.

The rebuilding part of the project is separate from the sewer work and will not begin for some time. The City will focus on the sewer project for several months before starting park restoration. We will be included in the discussions once survey evaluation and design of restoration work begins.
