Hello, Davis Lane Community!

It’s a good day, May 14, 2024. Our efforts are having some impact: the City may consider putting a pickleball court in. If you know anyone that has not filled out the survey, please have them prioritize “Pickleball” top on Question 1 and on Question 3 tick “Other” and add “tennis/pickleball courts”. Survey ends May 30th.

The City will lean on this survey so please have your partners, children, relatives, and friends fill it out!

We will also bring up the 358+ online signatures and 99% support from house-to-house canvasing that we have and 11 speakers at city council and economic impact.

The rebuilding part of the project is separate from the sewer, and we have a better chance of influencing this process.

Tennis people:  the city may be more open to a pickleball court but getting them open to any sort of court at all opens the door for further discussion.

P.S. (The photo taken today shows the kind of play that’s only possible on neighborhood court.  Pickleball on one court, badminton on the other, and a dog and child playing too!  You won’t see THAT at a tennis center!)
