Dalry Library plays a crucial role in our community, providing access to knowledge and fostering a love for reading. This essential local hub not only gives us access to thousands of books, but also offers vital services such as computing facilities and various social activities. However, due to proposed budget cuts, our Library is under threat. It's reported that libraries contribute significantly to the mental well-being of people, . Furthermore, the closures of Dalry Library will cause an  increased digital exclusion, as they provide internet access to people living in Dalry who don't have access to Internet in their homes. Therefore, not only will closing Dalry Library cut off our access to books and activities, but it may also exacerbate social inequalities. Also a risk of people losing their jobs during a cost of living crisis. We urge the council to reconsider these budget cuts and keep our Library open for  our community.
