SAVE Crystal Rilee Equestrian Park- Stop the Mountain Bike Takeover of Riding Trails!

The Issue

Equestrians, Hikers, Nature Lovers and Concerned Citizens!

Those who knew Crystal Rilee understand her gift of 400 acres atop Parrett Mountain was to preserve the land for it's unique agricultural heritage, enjoyment of riding horses and support of natural habitats.

Unfortunately, all of this is at risk for being lost due to the Chehalem Park and Recreation District allowing the gifted park to be severely impacted by mountain bikers. Their laissez-faire approach enabled mountain bikers to assume use of the entire park for the purpose of racing as well as bushwhacking new trials with no oversight.  Many other riding trails have succumb to the mountain bike takeover, resulting in the exodus of equestrians over fear of inherent accidents!

Let's avoid another casualty of  "Do you remember when we could ride there" or "It was only a matter of time until someone got hurt from a cyclist & horse crash"

Please join us in making our voices heard and stand up to SAVE this precious resource before it's gone! The CPRD board members need to hear "CEASE ALL MTB ACTIVITY".

The public is encouraged to attend in person @  125 S. Elliott Road Newberg, OR 97132  Thurs 9/28/23 @ 6:00pm
