On March 3rd, 2022, Alterra Mountain Company announced they would be making a variation of changes to Crystal mountain Ski Area for the 22/23 season. Locals from across King and Pierce county are losing access to their beloved mountain, due to excessive price increase to fund their "Reimagine Crystal" project. Long story short, the project plans to incorporate new facilities, including hotels, lodges, and dining. This all comes at the cost of losing nearly all local riders who grew up and live on the mountain, including my friends and I. Alterra Mountain Company, who acquired the mountain in 2018, is ditching the community(including their awesome local employees) who have been the lifeblood of Crystal mountain since the early 1960s by going through with this project. Voice your opinion to stop the project from being put into motion before its too late by signing this petition. The Crystal mountain community appreciates your time love and support!!
