Save Coral Gables Senior High School
Coral Gables Senior High School, established 71 years ago, is at risk of being demolish for the proposed University of Miami 50,000 football stadium funded by the John H. Ruiz family. This project WILL displace students, disrupt their learning environment, cause traffic near Bird Road, and has been the home of notable alumni around Miami-Dade County and the United States; Gables High has been a feeder school for the University of Miami’s football team as well. Coral Gables Senior High School has successfully sent its students to top universities, has 2 magnet programs and a new teaching academy that allows students to graduate with an Associate’s degree from Miami-Dade College, a nationally ranked dance team, and around 3,060 students. Like our school motto: Dirigo (I Lead), we-Cavaliers past, present, and future-must lead and protect our Alma Mater. As always, Go Cavs
