Hey you guys!! If you've reached this petition then you know we need your help. Concord Elementary School in District Heights, MD has been around for the students of District Heights and Capitol Heights, Maryland and their families for over 50 years. Many families in the area are 2nd generation students whose parents went to the school in their youth. The current staff is wonderful and like family. On any given morning you can see Dr. Doggett the schools current principal and Ms. Connelly out front ushering the students inside for breakfast and the days lessons. (Personally, never have I ever seen that at a school and I love it!!) However, Concord is at risk for being closed. This poses alot of issues for alot of us Concord families. Some of those include transportation issues and being forced to buy all new uniforms. BUT, we can change that. We have a chance to stop them before their final vote on November 10th.
