The GSA board of governors is pushing for more students in the Haldane, forcing the displaced 1st year Com Des students to share a studio space with the 2nd year in the Reid and limiting student access to studio space. This directly affects the quality of work, education and access to facilities negatively for all Com Des students in the interest of money.

Studio culture is a key part of the art school and the creation process that is promised to prospective students, allowing a community to form and giving the students a key space to work. 

For students paying the full price of their fees, they will be losing access to the facilities and spaces they came to the school for and pay for.

This petition proposes:

• Alternative studio spaces to be provided for displaced Com Des students
• Accessibility to workshop facilities for students 
• Accounting transparency, allowing the students to know where their money is going
