A horrifying terrorist attack took place in a church in Damascus, Syria on June 22nd 2025. A man entered the church during prayer, shot innocent people, shouted “Allahu Akbar,” and then blew himself up. Over 15 people have been killed so far, and many others are injured or in critical condition.

 

This church was full of students, children, infants, and elderly people—families gathered to pray in peace. Many were students and employees who couldn’t attend the morning service because of university classes or their work ,so they went in the afternoon instead. The church was crowded, and that’s exactly why it was targeted. It was awful, heartbreaking, and inhumane.

ISIS and Al-Qaeda are still active in Syria. They are threatening Christians again, and now they’ve started bombing and killing us. First, they took our homes. Then they stole our money. Now they are taking our lives.

We are calling on Christian leaders and governments around the world: Please, stand with us. Protect the Christian community in Syria. Help open safe pathways for those who want to leave and seek refuge in countries where they will be safe.

We are terrified. We feel abandoned. And we are pleading with you—please act. Please save the Christians of Syria before more lives are lost.

The blood of God’s children is not cheap. We are your brothers and sisters in Christ. Please don’t look away. Help us.
For the love of Jesus Christ—please don’t stay silent.

في 22 يونيو 2025، وقع هجوم إرهابي مروّع في كنيسة بدمشق، سوريا. دخل رجل إلى الكنيسة أثناء الصلاة، أطلق النار على الأبرياء، ثم صرخ “الله أكبر” وفجّر نفسه. قُتل أكثر من 15 شخصًا حتى الآن، والعديد من الآخرين بين جريح وحالته حرجة.

 

كانت الكنيسة مليئة بالطلاب، والأطفال، والرضّع، وكبار السن عائلات جاءت لتصلي بسلام. كثيرون منهم كانوا طلابًا أو موظفين لم يستطيعوا حضور قداس الصباح بسبب الجامعة أو العمل، فاختاروا الصلاة في فترة بعد الظهر. كانت الكنيسة مزدحمة، ولهذا السبب بالضبط تم استهدافها. كان المشهد مروّعًا، ومفجعًا، ولا يمكن وصفه بالإنسانية.

 

لا تزال داعش والقاعدة نشطة في سوريا. يهددون المسيحيين من جديد، وها هم الآن يبدأون بالتفجيرات والقتل. بدأ الأمر بسرقة بيوتنا. ثم أخذوا أموالنا. واليوم، يأخذون أرواحنا.

 

نناشد القادة المسيحيين والحكومات حول العالم: أرجوكم، قفوا إلى جانبنا. احموا المجتمع المسيحي في سوريا. ساعدونا بفتح طرق آمنة لمن يريدون المغادرة وطلب اللجوء في دول تضمن لهم الأمان.

 

نحن خائفون. نشعر بأن العالم تخلى عنا. ونرجوكم من أعماق قلوبنا ..تحرّكوا. أنقذوا مسيحيي سوريا قبل أن تُزهق أرواحٌ أكثر.

 

دم أبناء الله ليس رخيصًا. نحن إخوتكم وأخواتكم في المسيح. لا تغضوا النظر. ساعدونا.

من أجل محبة يسوع المسيح لا تبقوا صامتين.
