Object : Lawsuit between Susaki City and Cleebrats Inc., operator of Chiitan
Dear Sir or Madam,
Many Chiitan’s followers throughout the world are extremely concerned about the lawsuit between Susaki City and Cleebrats Inc., operator of Chiitan.
Indeed, Chiitan is a very popular mascot who has become famous in many countries, especially in the United States, South America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Chiitan has thus managed to create a link between people from all around the world, thanks to its activities and presence on social networks.
Chiitan’s unique personality and kindness have helped many people to overcome personal problems, encouraging them to move forward and keep on smiling whatever the difficulties are. There are many examples of sick, heartbroken or handicapped people whom Chiitan’s generous presence and childlike innocence have helped to regain hope in life and to see beauty in the world again: it is not difficult to imagine what all those people would miss without Chiitan.
Moreover, Chiitan has also played a noteworthy important part in several social problems, especially after the earthquake of the Noto peninsula in January 2024.
Chiitan has reached our hearts and souls and it would be a sad and painful thing for millions of people throughout the world if he should stop his activities due to an injunction of the law.
Eventually, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the existence and popularity of Chiitan as a mascot have no negative impact whatsoever as far as Shinjo-kun is concerned. On the contrary, we are happy that Chiitan made Shinjo-kun known to us and to the world.
Last but not least, it seems to us that Chiitan has made headway and reached great popularity through autonomous hard work.
That is why we have decided to start this petition online, hoping that you will reconsider your claims concerning the suspension of Chiitan’s activities.
We hope that you will respond favorably to our request,
Sincerely yours,
Chiitan’s fans
