The local and wider community have shown their strength of feeling …. Through both the petition (now over 1200 signatures) and also a huge turnout at the local meeting on Wednesday. 

• this engagement has been worthwhile!  
• the coastal team acknowledge the key importance of the cove as a community asset and have agreed to seek an alternative solution to improve stability of the land above the curved sea wall that will not destroy the cove.
• they have promised to feedback to us
