Don’t let the banks rob society of the safest and most reliable way to make large or remote payments!

The banks should not be able to dictate to society and to the government that people cannot use the safe, reliable, established and proven payment method of cheque, and force people to use electronic transactions instead, just because the banks find electronic transactions more profitable!

Even people who do not regularly use cheques need cheque facilities as a backup, as electronic transactions do not always work.

The assertion that people have stopped using cheques is a lie, other than what the banks have engineered themselves, such as by refusing to issue cheque books.

Please write a quick email to your local Member of Federal Parliament and to the Federal Treasurer asking for cheques to be retained – AND IF ENOUGH PEOPLE WRITE, IT MAY NOT BE TOO LATE TO RETAIN CHEQUING FACILITIES!
