Latest figures from the Council reveal that for the Year to June 2019, the number of golf rounds played at Chamberlain Park has increased from 60,000 to 63,260.

The associated profit is up- currently $340,341 for the year end.

Why would a City Vision dominated Local Board kill the goose that lays golden eggs when Auckland Council is in such debt and struggling to fund its many important social, housing and transport projects that really would benefit Aucklanders? They don't need to put any money into an 18 hole,  well run Chamberlain Park. It pays for itself plus!! Every year the numbers have been increasing as people realise what a great public course we have in Chamberlain Park.
