Save Chamberlain Park, while fighting to retain the 18 hole golf course, are also committed to saving hundreds of protected trees from being removed with the proposed 9 hole Chamberlain Park master plan. Western Springs and Chamberlain Park are part of the green bird corridor to the Waitakere Ranges .
