10am at the High Court in Parliament St on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th November. All interested parties are welcome to attend. This has been a long haul of politics and fundraising to try and prevent the wanton destruction of Chamberlain Park, a well used and self-funding public facility. With no specific plans, geotech reports, traffic evaluations or accurate costing, the spending of public money for such an ill defined outcome is outrageous. Keep this precious green space for all Aucklanders, the golfers, walkers, bikers etc! Spend council money on cleaning up Meola Creek and look to the future as a possible predator-free bird sanctuary.
