Over 500 people have signed the paper petition at Chamberlain and over 1500 have signed the online petition. Jane and Jan say they signed the petition, because this is the only course they want to play on. They comment. "This course is easy to access from anywhere in Auckland. We are members of the Ladies club (for $135pa) and this gives us our LGU. It means Chamberlain is our home club and we can play at other clubs as an affiliate. Also- we find the people here are really friendly. We absolutely disagree with turning it into a nine hole course"
