This week, the Court of Session ruled in my favour – the council's permission to close off the best part of Cathkin Park from public use was unlawful.
This is amazing news! Not just for Mount Florida or Glasgow, but for everyone who enjoys public green spaces across Scotland.
This wouldn't have been possible without the incredible encouragement you gave our community by signing this petition, and the immense financial support from those who were able to donate to my legal fund.
The council could yet appeal against the court's decision, so I'm not going to 'declare victory' until the final nail is in the fence's coffin. I'll give you another update in a few weeks.
