Save Castra Falls from Clearfell Logging

The issue

Sustainable Timber Tasmania, our state-owned logging agency, are scheduled to clearfell five hectares of native forest at the popular Castra Falls Circuit walking trail this year.

This is a travesty.

Thousands of locals and tourists flock to the area each year to visit the five stunning waterfalls, cavernous trees hundreds of years old, colourful fungi and rich rainforest full of wildlife and biodiversity.

Clearfelling is a barbarous attack on nature, forever altering the landscape.

We are calling on the planned logging activities to go up in smoke before this majestic forest does.

Sign the petition now to send a clear message that these forests are worth more standing.
